Muir Homes - Public Event

Auchterarder Community Sports and Recreation (ACSR) is keen to share details of an important Public Event being hosted by Muir Homes.  The event relates to the development of sport & recreation facilities near to the school, as part of the obligations the developers have relating to recent housebuilding in the town. 

 Over recent months, and working closely together in partnership, Auchterarder Community Sports and Recreation, A&A Connected and The Sports Hub have been engaged in discussions with Muir Homes (who represent all the housebuilders in the consortium) and Perth and Kinross Council.  At these meetings, we have shared our observations and concerns about a range of matters related to the proposed development of these sport & recreation facilities (including the location, access, project timelines and phasing, and the importance of a post-construction maintenance and management plan) – while highlighting the benefits new facilities could have for the town.

The drop-in event on Thursday 23rd April 2026 provides a fantastic opportunity for you to come and see the plans, the timelines and to provide your feedback.  We strongly encourage you to attend – and to spread details of this event as widely as you can through your contact network.
