Project Update: CAstlemains AUchterarder - Sports Facilities

Since May 2021, Auchterarder Community Sports & Recreation (ACSR) has been part of a group (of engaged members of a community group in Auchterarder’s sport and leisure sector), which was invited by Perth & Kinross Council (PKC) to discuss the proposed provision of sports facilities at Castlemains and Kirkton as part of the Auchterarder Development Framework Area.

Following a series of meetings, and a Muir Homes public event (hosted in the Pavilion, on Thursday 23rd April 2026), ACSR wrote to PKC in June 2026 - to pose a series of questions which ACSR’s Trustees wished responses to. In this letter ACSR stated that the intention was to make both ACSR’s questions and PKC’s responses available to the public. Shortly thereafter, another ‘community group’, Auchterarder & Aberuthven Connected (A&A Connected), also submitted two questions to PKC.  Please find the following documents linked below:
