ACSR IS RECRUITING, NOW - FOR A YOUTH TENNIS COACH

ACSR is recruiting a Youth Tennis Coach, to deliver action-packed and engaging tennis sessions to young people.

• Sessions take place on Saturday mornings (and possible expansion to other days, with coach agreement)

• Sessions take place indoor, in the sports hall at The Community School of Auchterarder

• Sessions will begin in January 2027 (with a possible earlier start date by agreement with the coach)

• Sessions are for young people, aged 5-12 years old

• ACSR is recruiting a self-employed coach

• Hourly pay rate = £16.50 - £30, depending on experience

RACKET PROGRAMME HISTORY

2023 saw ACSR launch its a new ‘Racket Sports’ programme designed to provide new opportunities for people within Auchterarder to participate in some fun sporting activities. There were two initial components:

• Pickleball

  • For adults

  • Contact the Pickleball Committee for activity and joining details.

• Tennis

  • For young people

  • All registrations for our youth tennis programme can be made via the LTA portal.

The Future

We are hopeful that the proposed new sports facilities off Castleton Road will increase the opportunity for racket sports activities in the future.
