ACSR & ACSR Chairperson Nominated for Local Awards

Both Ian Somerville (our Chairperson) and ACSR have been nominated as finalists for the upcoming Perth and Kinross Sports Awards. The nominations relate to a very busy, and hugely successful, 2025.

  • The completion and opening of the new Auchterarder Green Spaces Working Group Mountain Bike Trail and Pump Track, and the impressive growth of ACSR Cycle Hub, including the bike maintenance and trishaw projects, has been recognised in the 'Sport For Change Award' category.

  • Ian has been shortlisted in the 'Volunteer of the Year' category for his outstanding leadership, drive and determination, and support of our Development Manager - as well as his practical involvement as a trishaw pilot and with a strimmer in hand at extra Auchterarder Core Paths Working Group tidy events.

All our achievements only remain possible thanks to our growing network of volunteers - and we want to continue to extend our thanks to everyone who takes the time to #BeActiveBeInvolved and support all our activities and the generation of ideas for our future projects.
